Arduino Shields

\\ There are a huge number of Arduino shields, but some seem to be poorly documented and/or discontinued and it is hard to find a complete set of data on them and drivers for them. {{ :arduino:shield:dsc_0690a.jpg?640 |Arduino Shields}} ===== Overview ===== Arduino shields are generally mini circuit boards designed to plug directly on top of an Arduino micro-controller board and provide some extra functionality. Some are designed to plug into one specific Arduino model only, others might fit one or more models. A wide range is available, almost everything from fairly bare prototyping shields, switches, displays (eg LCD, OLED), networking shields (eg ethernet, wifi, bluetooth, infrared) to specific applications like music and FM tuners. On the [[:arduino:shield:sidebar|sidebar]] are a few that I've come across, and data about them and my experiences with them. ====== References and Additional Resources ======
